Kodak Verichrome Pan found in Kodak Box Brownie in Robertson Emporium
This roll of Verichrome Pan in type 116 was discovered while inspecting old cameras in the Emporium in Robertson, NSW. A Kodak Box Brownie had a part of the roll on the receiving spool. The end of the roll with frames 6 to 8 was torn, probably in an attempt to remove it from the camera before selling.
The stuff at Emporium were initially hesitant to separate the film from the camera, but after a quick call to the seller the matter was settled.
The roll was developed in HC-110 dilution B for 6 minutes at 18 °C. Four recognisable images were recovered. The fifth frame was light-struck likely during the attempts to remove the film from the camera. After some digital manipulation, a hint of the image could still be seen on this frame.
